I lie here with my kitten and pup
Just relaxing away the day
Both love to snuggle at my side
After we wrestle around and play

I know that they truly love me
Because they like to lick my face
That is how they give me kisses
As I hold them in my embrace

I always try to pet them nice
So they know I love them too
Because they are my best friends
And they like to do what I do
